- Temppeliaukio Rock Church – unique landmark, built directly into solid rock
Suomenlinna Sea Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Gives a real Finnish coastal feeling. Features old fortifications, stone walls, tunnels, cannons and museum. Public ferry 15 min from Market Square, easy to reach. Recommended time for the visit is 3-4 hours, guidance available upon request.
Finnish Sauna Experience
- Löyly (design sauna) or Allas Sea Pool are very popular to visit in the city center.
- Smoke sauna experience possible with 30 min private transfer from the Helsinki Airport.
- A quick dip in the water highly recommended in summer but also in winter.
Helsinki in Winter
- Christmas lights in the whole city from November to January
- Helsinki Christmas Markets in December with local food, crafts and lights
